Data We Collect

FocusLog stores all your check-in data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your journal entries, mood ratings, medication logs, or any health-related data on our servers. The only data we may receive is anonymised, aggregated statistics if you opt in to AI insights — and even then, we never receive your raw journal text or identifiable information.

Local Storage

Your data lives in an encrypted SQLite database on your phone. You control it. You can export it, back it up to iCloud or Google Drive under your own account, or delete it at any time. We have no access to this data.

AI Insights (Opt-In)

If you enable AI-generated weekly summaries, only anonymised aggregates (e.g. average focus scores, sleep patterns) are sent to our servers. We never send your journal text, mood words, medication names, or anything that could identify you. You can disable this feature at any time.

Analytics & Tracking

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking. We do not sell your data. Ever.
